Awakening Our Inner Savior

Awakening Our Inner Savior

The Path to Salvation Lies Within Us

We may have been taught that our destiny, our salvation, our liberation depended on an event that occurred 2,000 years ago. We were told that the Son of God came to Earth to show the power of the Divine, then would return later to save us. Technically, that is true… but it is not as simple as it seems.

We were taught to wait, to hope for redemption from the outside, as if we were mere spectators of our own lives. We were even told: “The only way to truth and life is Jesus.” Yet, he himself never spoke these words in that way.

What if this belief is exactly what has been preventing us from being free? What if the carefully guarded secret is that salvation has nothing to do with a ticket to heaven? A ticket supposedly earned by being a “good Christian”?

The truth is far more powerful. It does not reside in an ancient book, but within us. We were told about a savior. But the only true savior we ever need… is ourselves.

The Symbolism of the Crucifixion

The sacrifice of Christ is a historical fact, but its profound meaning has been lost.

The cross is not just a piece of wood: it is the map of our inner being.

  • The vertical bar: our connection to the Divine
  • The horizontal bar: our human reality, our struggles, our passions
  • The center, where the “savior” is sacrificed: the part of us that must die — our ego, our illusions — to be reborn transformed

Waiting passively for someone to save us is like watching someone show us how to start a fire… and hoping to feel its warmth without ever rubbing the wood ourselves. The path has been shown. The question is: do we have the courage to take it?

Our prophets cannot save us. They can only guide us so that we save ourselves.

The Inner Battle

Within us, a battle is waged between two forces:

  • Our Higher Self: our intuitive, loving, creative nature
  • Our Lower Self: our fears, selfish instincts, anger

“Sin” is not a moral fault. It is simply being trapped in our lower nature. To save ourselves is to win this inner war. And no one else can do it for us.

Let us become the observers of ourselves. Observe without judgment. Notice anger rising without succumbing. Recognize jealousy without feeding it. By doing this, we are no longer the emotion; we become the consciousness that observes. This is the first step toward absolute freedom.

Becoming Alchemists

Self-knowledge is not passive. Once we identify negative energy, our work is to transmute it:

  • Anger → into unwavering determination
  • Fear → into courage and preparation

We do not erase our shadow; we use its energy to create more light.

This constant work awakens what traditions call the “Inner Christ” or the “Inner Master.” This is not a poetic metaphor: it is the awakening of our own divine essence, the concrete manifestation of our highest potential.

The historical savior did not come for us to worship him, but to inspire us to become like him. His story is a mirror reflecting our own potential. His sacrifice shows that what must die is our ego, to be reborn as free, powerful, and radiant beings. Yes, we are children of God in all our splendor.

The Choice is Now

Shall we remain spectators?

Praying in church every Sunday without understanding why?

True salvation is the liberation from all inner chains. It begins with one single act: turning our gaze inward.

The savior did not die for us. He died to show us how to live.

The truth is before our eyes.
