The 7 Principles Of The Alchemist

The 7 Principles Of The Alchemist

THE 7 PRINCIPLES OF THE ALCHEMIST

Inspired by Paracelsus

  1. The journey often begins with tending to health, the sacred vessel of the soul. Gentle, rhythmic breathing — as often as possible, in open air or before a window — nourishes the body with life’s current. Sipping pure water throughout the day, choosing vibrant fruits, chewing slowly and consciously… these simple gestures become acts of devotion. When possible, it is wise to avoid alcohol, tobacco, and unnecessary medication, unless under essential care. The body is a living temple, and its well-being serves the alchemy of transformation.
  2. Certain thoughts can weigh heavily on the spirit — resentment, pessimism, sadness, hatred, revenge, scarcity. As much as possible, it helps to release these vibrations and move gently away from environments where gossip, complaint, or vanity are present. Not to judge, but to preserve inner harmony. In this, something deep begins to shift: the subtle architecture of the soul reshapes itself. From this space, new patterns of destiny may emerge. Nothing is ever truly by chance.
  3. Let goodness flow naturally, without seeking recognition. Yet there is also wisdom in caring for one’s energy — avoiding excessive emotional entanglement or the illusion that one must save or fix others. Kindness and discernment are not opposites; they are allies in sacred balance.
  4. To hold onto offense is to let the past inhabit the present. One can gently allow old wounds to dissolve, and even begin to think kindly of those once considered adversaries. The soul is a sanctuary. May it remain untouched by bitterness.
  5. A quiet moment, every day — even for half an hour — where no one disturbs, offers nourishment beyond words. Sitting comfortably, eyes softened, letting thoughts drift like clouds without attachment… In this silence, something realign itself. The spirit finds strength, and unseen harmonies begin to flow in.
  6. There is power in sacred discretion. To speak less of personal matters, even with those close, is not secrecy but preservation. Like a sealed garden or a consecrated home, the inner world thrives when protected. This principle strengthens intuition and invites clarity over confusion.
  7. There is no need to fear others or to tremble at the future. A clear and upright soul walks with unseen allies. Even in solitude, one is not alone. Invisible forces, vast and benevolent, surround every being who chooses the path of elevation. The only true adversary is fear itself — fear of life, fear of what is to come. These vibrations attract misfortune. But when the heart remains anchored in trust, aligned with what is true and luminous, nothing can truly harm.
